Document and Book Restoration Workshop

As the collection is extensive the restoration workshop is an important part of the archive. It is located on the ground floor and is equipped with all necessary material for restoration. It is used for the consolation of the documents as well as the exclusive restoration of the university collection.

Creation of Data and Images Bases

With the need to incorporate modern technologies the data and image bases were created in 1997. Within these documenting a deteriorated condition has been saved from further damage including images which can not be put into a digital format.

These database with more than a million images can be accessed from any geographic point.
