Abstract submission

Deadline for abstract submission: May 31 2009
The following details have to be considered for abstract formatting:- All abstracts have to be submitted in the official congress language English.
- Abstract must not exceed 1 page of size A4 (210 x 297 mm).
- Right and left external margins have to be set at 40 mm, top and bottom margins at 50mm.
- Use a 10pt Times New Roman (True Type) with line spacing single, justified, except otherwise noted.
- To avoid character corruption, any special characters should be entered using either Times New Roman or Symbol font.
- The abstract title should be in capitals, Times New Roman 12pt bold and centered. The title should not be longer than three lines.
- List author’s name(s) preceded by full first name and separated by comma, underlining name of presenter (Times New Roman 11pt bold, centered and line spacing single). If needed, relate each name to the respective institution by an identification symbol.
- List institution(s) (Times New Roman 10pt, italic, line spacing single). Each institution should start a new line.
- Separate title, author names and names of institutions by a blank line.
- Separate the names of institutions and the body text by two blank lines.
- Subdivide the body text into paragraphs.
- All tables should be cited in the text of the abstract. Use Table Headings: Times New Roman 9pt Bold.
- All figures (only grey scale) should be cited in the text of the abstract and should be embedded in the Word document. Use Figure Labels: Times New Roman 9pt Bold.
- References should be listed at the end of the document, separated by two blank lines from the body text (Times New Roman 9pt). They should be numbered, and each reference should start a new line. All references in the reference list should be cited in the text of the abstract. Use journal abbreviations, do not cite the title of articles.
Abstract must be saved in the rich text format (rtf). [In your word processing program, go to the file menu and choose Save As. Change the type to Rich Text Format (RTF).]
NOTE: The maximal dimensions for the posters are:
height: 150 cm and width: 90 cm

Abstracts received after the deadline will not be accepted.
Abstract editing is the responsibility of the author. Abstracts will be published as received.
Accepted abstracts will be printed in the Book of Abstracts that will be distributed during the Congress.
