The Spanish Association of Labour Economists (AEET) shall hold The 9th Conference of Labour Economics in Santiago de Compostela, on 7 and 8 July 2011, organised by the Group of Analysis and Modelling in Economics (GAME) in collaboration with the Galician Institute of Study and Development (IDEGA) and the USC School of Labour Relations. The Workshops are intended to serve as a forum for debate on key issues related to the labour market, both those related to its operation and results, as well as economic policies aimed at the labour market. The objectives of the Association are, first and foremost, to promote and disseminate studies on labour economics, i.e. the economic analysis of labour markets and employment policies in general and, where appropriate, train and develop experts in this area, and promote professional contact and exchange, thus bringing together work and research on the issue among the various interested individuals and institution, both domestic and foreign.
