Description

The Rector Magnificus, Honourable D. Juan J. Casares Long, is the most important academic authority in the University of Santiago de Compostela, and holds its representation. He directs the University guidance, government, and management, developing the guidelines approved by the Collegiate Bodies(Social Council, Governing University Council and University Senate) and implements their decisions. To develop such functions he is assisted by the Governing Board, where the vice-rectors, the general secretary and the bursar are present.
