Senior Lecturer since 2000. She earned her bachelor’s degree (1993) and doctorate (1997) from USC and specialized in Procedural Law. Member of the Alonso Martinez Institute of Law and Litigation of the Carlos III University (Madrid). She collaborates with the Galician Academy of Public Security. Until she joined the USC as professor of Procedural Law in 1992, she held a temporal position as First Instance and Instruction Judge in Caldas de Reis (Pontevedra, Spain) and Noia (A Coruña, Spain).

Description

The General Secretary holds the Secretary of the University Senate, the Governing Council and the Consultative Board. Its main function is to divulge the acts and agreements of the university collective organs of representation, government and administration, except for the decisions of the Social Council. Moreover, it has as functions: the direction of the Academic Management Service,of the Office of Claims Analysis, of the administrative part of the University Archives, of the General Registry, of the University Legal Advice Office and of the Service of Language Normalisation. It is also responsible for the reception and custody of the students academic transcripts and for the electoral management in coordination with the University Central Electoral Committee

The General Secretary is ex-officio member of the Social Council and presides over the Linguistic Normalization Committee of the University Senate.

The Assistant Secretary helps the General Secretary with the University Government.
