She earned her bachelor’s degree (1974) and doctorate (1983) in Chemistry from USC. Currently she is Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pedology and Agricultural Chemistry at USC. Her main research interest is the study of deterioration of natural and cultural heritage and methodologies for its restoration and preservation. She coordinates the Group of Environmental Studies Applied to Cultural and Natural Heritage (GEMAP-USC). She was awarded the Galician Research Price in 1982.

Description

This vice-rectorship is responsible for coordinating the actions of improvement of the services rendered by the USC. Within these objectives are those of designing and carrying out assessment procedures of teaching, research and services, improving the quality of life at the Campuses, creating an Office for Gender Equality and creating and supporting figures of teaching excellence among the teaching staff.
