Helds a chair at USC since 2010. Bachelor’s degree in Biology from USC (1987). He earned his doctorate in Biology in 1993 from the same university and teaches courses on Microbiology. Secretary of the Department of Microbiology and Parasitology (2006 to 2011) and Director of the Center of Posgraduate Studies at USC (2011 to 2012).
