Erasmus

Within the Lifelong Learning Program (LLP), the actions relevant to Higher Education are denominated Erasmus. Such actions are aimed at improving the quality of higher education and reinforcing their European dimension, while fostering transnational cooperation between universities, facilitating European mobility and improving transparency and academic recognition as regards studies and qualifications within the European Union.

All selected students will receive economic support from the European Commission and the USC, which is compatible with any other grants (including Spanish Ministry of Education grants) that the student may already have been awarded. Students may also apply for other complementary grants offered yearly by the Spanish Ministry of Education and the Xunta de Galicia.
