USC students


The USC participates in several programmes that enable the university’s own students, at all academic levels, to broaden their studies at other educational institutions. The different types of programmes (aimed at mobility and cooperation) are outlined here, so that students can consult the appropriate sections according to their particular interests and choose how to complete their training. More information about the programmes is available at each of the links. Interested students can also consult the Academic Responsible for Mobility (RAM) at each centre or at the External Relations Office (ORE).

Programmes

  • Erasmus: This programme favours European mobility for carrying out academically recognised undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate studies within the European Union.
  • Erasmus practical training: To enable students to obtain practical training in a business or organization in another European country.
  • Europracticum / Leonardo da Vinci: Aimed at graduates from the USC who wish to gain professional practical experience in businesses and institutions in the European Union.
  • Erasmus Mundus External  Cooperation Windows: Cooperation and mobility programme for exchanges between non-EU and EU countries for undergraduate, postgraduate and postdoctoral training.
  • Sicue / Séneca: Mobility between Spanish universities to enable students to carry out part of their studies at another university.
  • Student mobility under bilateral agreements: The USC favours the establishment of relations with other universities, organizations and institutions by specific agreements.
  • Swiss programme:  Mobility for carrying out studies at different universities in Switzerland.
  • ISEP exchange programme: Exchange and renewal for carrying out studies at USA and Puerto Rican universities within the ISEP Network.
  • TASSEP Programme: Exchanges of students between European, USA and Canadian universities.
  • MAEC - AECID grants: Study grants, generally at the postgraduate level, from the Spanish Ministry of External Affairs and Cooperation for young foreign and Spanish graduates.
  • Banco Santander / USC grants: For postgraduate student exchanges between the USC and South American universities.
  • Bancaja grants: Promote mobility for carrying out studies in South America and other countries outside the European Space for Higher Education.

 

Students from other universities


The USC participates in several programmes that enable the university’s own students, at all academic levels, to broaden their studies at other educational institutions. The different types of programmes (aimed at mobility and cooperation) are outlined here, so that students can consult the appropriate sections according to their particular interests and choose how to complete their training. Interested students can also consult the Academic Responsible for Mobility (RAM) at each centre or at the External Relations Office (ORE). During their stay at the USC, students can obtain personalised information and guidance from the Academic Responsible for Mobility at each centre and from USC students volunteering on the Student Guidance Programme.

  • Visiting Student Programme: Programme to increase the chances of mobility via institutional programmes with limited number of places.
  • Banco Santander / USC grants: For postgraduate student exchanges between the USC and South American universities.
  • MAEC - AECID grants: Study grants, generally for postgraduate level, from the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, for young foreign and Spanish graduates.
  • Santander / CRUE grants:  Grants for postgraduate and doctoral studies aimed at South American Students.
  • Volangteer programme/ Student guidance programme: Volunteers on this programme will provide support and guidance to foreign students visiting the USC as part of various exchange programme to help them adapt as quickly as possible to the USC and Galician society. The activities are aimed at strengthening the visiting students’ knowledge of the Galician language. The initiative will help create friendships, as well as professional, academic and scientific relationships between the visiting students and the hosts.
