
Europracticum IV is aimed at graduates from the USC who wish to obtain professional work experience in businesses and institutions within the European Union, between 2008 and 2010. The work placements will be regarded as a complement to training and will be relevant to the candidate’s qualifications.
Sixty of these grants are available for USC graduates, qualified between January 2004 and February 2009 (inclusive), who wish to complete their training with work experience in European businesses, to learn new ways of working in a multicultural environment, while also improving their linguistic skills.
Objectives:
This is recognised as a unique opportunity to improve the professional and linguistic skills of graduates: the duration of the placements will be 24 weeks and grants of between 2,400 and 4,300 euros are offered, depending on the country of destination, dates of travel, lodging and living expenses, as well as medical cover.
Candidates must have less than one year’s work experience related to their degree, have a good knowledge of the language of the host country, have some knowledge of informatics and must not have previously been in receipt of a grant from the Leonardo de la Vinci programme (including the Europracticum I, II and III programmes).
