Description

The Institute of Educational Sciences develops educational and research programmes in the field of educational science. It organises and offers courses and training programmes for USC teachers and students, as well as non-university technicians. It is responsible for the training of secondary school teachers and awarding Certificates of Teaching Aptitude (CAP, Certificado de Aptitude Pedagóxica); the collaboration in the annual evaluation of USC teaching staff; the production of research and reports concerning the various levels and services of the Galician educational system; the participation in European programmes related with education and, finally, the elaboration and publication of teaching material through the USC publication service.
