European EURAXESS network

The Galician Centre for Research Mobility aims to create a favourable environment for the development of research training and to promote international and intersectional mobility. The centre covers the three Galician universities: the University of A Coruña, the University of Santiago de Compostela and the University of Vigo.

The Galician Centre for Research Mobility forms part of the Spanish network of Mobility Centres and the European EURAXESS network. The Centre provides information and advice to researchers visiting or returning to Galicia, to Galician organizations looking for researchers in other countries, and to Galician researchers who wish to carry out a stay in another country as part of their training.

The centre provides the following:

•  Information: administrative (visas, taxes, etc); professional (research in Galicia, etc); everyday and cultural (lodgings, medical care, schools, etc)
• Information and link with the Network of Euraxess Centres Spain (www.euraxess.es/eng), coordinated by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECY), through whose website you can access the Guide Research Abroad in Spain www.euraxess.es/eng/services/guide-for-foreign-researchers.
• Announcements of vacancies and information about mobility programmes in Galicia.

Research organizations can:

•  Find information of interest about human resources in research and European scientific research policy.
• Find an ideal candidate to fill a vacancy, in the international database in the Researchers Mobility Portal http://ec.europa.eu/euraxess
• Announce international research positions, in the Researchers Mobility Portal.
