Information Technology in the USC

The information and communication technologies are a basic instrument nowadays. Without them, designing and betting on a modern and enterprising university is not possible. Research, teaching and even the management of our institution cannot achieve quality commitments without their efficient and intensive use.

 

The USC is provided with various units which interact, in different fields, in order to offer the best possible service to the university community.

The Strategic Plans of information and communication technologies (SPICT) for the 2004-2006 and 2007-2010 periods, available on the following web site (reports and other documents) include the strategic planning for our institution, and reflect the highest level involvement in this collective endevour.

Welcome to the IT Area

The IT Area plays a key role for the efficient organization of the information and communication systems in the support of the teaching, management and research tasks. Our aim is the optimum management of the resources and facilities provided to university community users. 

 

We are asked to face many challenges, and the number of services to be provided increases more and more; but with the greatest effort of all the team of professionals integrating this Area, we work without stopping and committed to our institution.

 

We hope that this web site can offer you information in a simple way and allow us a steady communication channel, of interest both for users and for ourselves.
