New users

All users of the university community are provided with credentials which are generated automatically. If you do not know what your credentials are or these were not communicated at the time (registration, hiring) you can request them in the following ways:

• Students:
  • 1^st - 2^nd cycle students entering the USC for the first time can generate their credentials to access USC information systems from   https://matricula.usc.es/MatriculaPrimeiro
  • Other students, entering for first time or continuing in POP (Official Postgraduate Programs) or 3^rd cycle with no credentials, must create them from https://matricula.usc.es/loginx
  • If a student is already provided with an account and cannot remember his/her password, he/she can request it through one of the following means:
    • By sending a short SMS message from https://sec-virtual.usc.es/Secretaria/Login.asp
    • In the computer room of his/her centre
    • By contacting the CAU (User Attention Centre)
• PDI (Teaching and Research Staff) and PAS (Administrative and Service Staff): they can request a copy of their credentials by contacting the CAU (User Attention Centre)

External staff with no credentials can request them by sending the following form  by post to the following address:
