Computer Rooms Network (RAI)

Description

The Computer Rooms Network (Rede de Aulas de Informática - RAI) of the University of Santiago de Compostela is the whole of physical spaces and infrastructures devoted to the teaching and use of the new technologies. The Computer Rooms Network of the USC is adscribed to the Area of Information and Communication Technologies (ATIC).

The different physical spaces are grouped in: computer rooms of the centres and general computer rooms of the campuses of Santiago and Lugo.

The job positions and comunication elements of the computer rooms that have a centralized structure of servers that give support and service to each one of the job positions of the Computer Rooms Network and to the users of the RAI.

The general computer rooms of the campuses of Santiago and Lugo have as main aim to organice and teach courses in the new technologies area, and to facilitate the access to the own resources of each one of these rooms for the learning of the computing tools, the carrying out of essays and the use of the offered services.
