Wireless network EduROAM

Eduroam is a project of the European networks of investigation, coordinated in Spain by RedIRIS, that consists of the development of a space of collaboration at level of mobility between the organizations of the research community, achieving that when users move among them they can automatically have services of connectivity looking simulteneously for security and easiness in the communications.



Specifically Eduroam intends to provide the users of a unique system of authentication for the connections with the laptops to the networks without threads of the different associate organizations.

As a result of all this, the user will be able to connect eduroam from any adhered institution, using the same credentials that they use in their institution of origin, and with no need to ask for any account in the institution that they visit.

To whom is it addressed?

The service eduroam is directed to the following groups: PDI, PAS, staff of research and third cycle students.
