The Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) are granted by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education. DELE diplomas are the official certificates to certify competency and command of the Spanish language.
Since 1992, the Modern Language Centre (CLM) of the University of Santiago de Compostela has been an authorized test center where you may take the exams of the B2, C1, and C2 diplomas in May and November.
The hosting of the DELE examinations in our centre has given rise to a preparation course of 40 hours. Extensive practice of grammar, vocabulary, listening, writing, reading and speaking is undertaken in order to familiarize candidates with the format and dynamics of the exams.

Registration conditions:
The candidate should submit the following documentation to the Secretary's Office of the CLM (also called the "Negociado" of the CLM), on the first floor of Casa dos Catedráticos, Avda. das Ciencias s/n, Campus Vida, during the following times: Monday to Friday from 11:30 to 2 pm:
- Completed registration form
- Identity card or passport with photograph
- Registration fees payment (the candidate must obtain the payment form at the CLM Secretary's Office).

Regulations for Test Day
- Photo ID
- Receipt of the Sign-Up form
- No.2 pencil, Eraser, Pencil Sharpener and Pen
Test Results
Candidates may view their results by using their inscription number at www.diplomas.cervantes.es approximately 2 months after the exam. Those who have passed the exam will receive their diploma about 5 months after the test day.
