Intensive Language Summer Courses 2013, from 8th to 19th July

The Center of Modern Languages (CLM) has the pleasure of announcing that from June 1st to June 25th the enrollment period will be open for all 27 intensive summer courses of 18 different languages. These courses will be taught during the morning between the hours of 9:30 and 13:45 or in the afternoon 15:30 - 19:45 from July 8th to July 19th in the lecture halls of the USC faculties in Santiago and Lugo.
 

The offer of courses includes  Arabic, Catalán, Chinese, Czech, Danish, English, Euskera, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Modern Greek, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Sign Language, and Slovakian. These courses are primarily for USC students who wish to attend foreign universities with a grant of mobility programs such as ERASMUS during the 2013- 2014 academic year, but are also open to any interested people who are at a minimum high school students that will also be 16 years old during 2013.  

The structure of the courses will give the utmost importance to the practice of oral skills rather than other aspects. Of note, the English and the French courses can be useful in order to prepare for the accreditation exams of the B1 level according to the CEFR (MCER).

For the first time, the CLM will offer a beginning intensive course of Euskera. Accordingly, the CLM will now organize classes of all 4 official languages of the Spanish state during the academic year.   

Enrollment should be completed during the aforementioned dates through the web page of the Center of Modern Languages  <http://www.usc.es/clm> or, in certain cases, in person at the office of the CLM.  
 
In regards to the courses of English and French, (Campuses of Lugo and Santiago) and with the objective of classifying students according to their command of the language, on June 17 a level test will be held. The time and place of the test  English campus Santiago - fac. de Dereito, Aula 1, 14.00hs-15.00hs and   French campus Santiago fac. de Dereito, 15.30hs-16.30hs. Start of enrollment, June 1 2013.
