Employment and disability

Social integration of the disabled are based on two cornerstones: access to education and incorporation into the labour market.

The USC is deeply involved in this issue and the actions developed for equal rights and opportunities of disabled people are significant. Thus, the Service of University Participation and Integration  is responsible for designing activities in order to promote the integration of people with some kind of disability. The University Residence Halls  (SUR) has accommodation reserved for disabled people and adapted bedrooms. Also, in all degrees there is a percentage of registration reserved for people holding a disability certificate.

The Occupational Guidance Area  is not unaware of this reality, and pays special attention to disabled students providing information of resources and entities which are particularly focused on the socio-labour integration of disabled people.
