The activities of the Labour Orientation Area as regards employment are:

Galician Employment Service:

• Incorporation and updating of the curriculum in the database of the Galician Employment Service ^* (G.E.S.).
• Advice for the updating and modification of curricula introduced in other centres.

^* The registration in this database is one of the requisites for gaining access to the FEUGA scholarships.

Labour mediation

Answering companies and other entities demands for newly alumni and students, a labour mediation service is developed from which the following activities are carried out:

• Reception and circulation in the university environment of the job offers presented by the companies.
• Collection of curriculums and advising for the adjustment to the positions offered.
• Advising to the companies about the profiles and potential of the USC degrees for the development of the functions corresponding to the positions they need to cover.
