Description

The Technical Service for Scientific Instrumentation is attached to the Vice-rectorship of Research and Innovation. It is responsible for the maintenance and repairing of the research instrumentation of the USC. Final selection of a company is made by public competition every four years. Currently, the company DME, S.A. (e-mail: stecnico@usc.es) is in charge of the service.

The Vice-rectorship of Research and Innovation finances the cost of repairing and maintaining research equipment, while research teams have to pay the cost of the material used in the repairings. Every three months, the university departments and institutes are charged for the full cost of the materials.

Requests for repairing will be done via web form .  Research groups will be able to check the state of their equipment. To do so, they must register by completing the following form (go to form ). Once completed, enquiries can be made in the following  web site .
