Since the beginning of the process of reorganisation, modernisation and updating of the USC website, the consciousness for a web site as accessible as possible was very high. This is the main reason for designing a website that can be easily used by students with disabilities, either related to vision, mobility, hearing or otherwise.

The fact of integrating the web site with a content management tool facilitated the process of creating, editing and maintenance of web pages. It allows for compulsory elements such as the ALT tag in order that people with visual disabilities or those who are forced to use audio browsers can move throughout the site without much trouble and without loss of information.

Multimedia animations and automatic loading of audio files have also been removed. Thus, people with hearing impairments will easily access to all the information of the website.
