Mission, View, Values and Objectives

Mission

Escola Técnica Superior de Enxeñaría at the University of Santiago de Compostela (ETSE) aims to contribute to comprehensive education in a stimulating environment, dedicated to innovation and human relations, consisting of engineering students and engineers engaged in the development of society, under the ethic principles of both solidarity and sustainability.
The school welcomes prominent research groups in engineering and promotes scientific and technological development, promoting research, dissemination of technological culture and relationships with companies, institutions and research centres.

Vision

ETSE would like to be recognized as a centre of excellence in teaching and research, which is integrated into the Area of European Higher Education, which provides a range of quality training in both graduate and post graduate levels that cares about the employment of their graduates.
The school would like to be recognized for applying methodology that integrates theoretical and practical applications in laboratories and partner companies in an innovative work environment, which is also friendly and efficient, featuring highly qualified teachers who encourage the personal development, abilities and independent learning of their students. The school would like to maintain excellent relations with other Galician, Spanish and international institutions, professional bodies and associations, companies and institutions, and in particular with its graduates.
