The degree in Chemical Engineering, was initiated in the year 1994/95, is housed in the School of Engineering of the University of Santiago de Compostela. The study plan was published in the BOE on 2rd August 2003.
The basic goal of the degree is to train competent professionals with knowledge, methodologies, ethical values and work habits on different topics: projects, operation or optimization of processes (industrial and natural) that imply the transformation of mass and energy into useful products without compromising nature, safety or availability of finite resources.
