The Higher Politechnic School of Lugo (EPS) is a center of Education that belongs to the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). It was founded in 1967 as Agronomy Technical Engineering School and later integrated more first and second cycle degrees related to Agronomy and Forestry, being at present an important agent involved in the agricultural and forest development of Galicia Autonomus Community, through two essential purposes: Training Agronomy and Forestry Universitary Technicians and carrying out research and technical works to solve agricultural sector problems.
