24-28/8/2010 - Mackenzie, J. L. and Francisco Gonzálvez-García participated actively in the ESSE 10 Conference in Turin (Italy): Mackenzie co-convened the seminar 'Recent changes in English and their implications for teaching and assessment' and acted as discussant for the seminar 'Construction Grammar meets Cognitive Semantics', a seminar co-convened by Gonzálvez-García, F, who himself contributed to the latter with a talk entitled 'Surprise, surprise! Exploring inter-constructional relations in the constructicon from a contrastive (English-Spanish) perspective', given together with Alicia Galera Masegosa. Gonzálvez-García also participated in a round table entitled 'Doctoral Studies in Europe: Focus on International Cooperation'.
