Abstracts
Abstracts for oral presentations or posters should be submitted electronically to the address sibeaqo2@usc.es as Word and PDF files, with the subject of the message "ABSTRACT LAST NAME (Example: ABSTRACT JOSE RODRIGUEZ) before July 10. Posters should be prepared in protrait (vertical) orientation with maximun size 80 x 100 cm.
The preferred file format is Microsoft Word 2007, although earlier versions will be accepted. The file name will be written without accent marks, punctuation marks or spaces and with the following format: firstsurmane_name.doc or firstsurmane_name.pdf (for example: Rodriguez_Jose.doc, Rodriguez_Jose.pdf). One presentation only per registration is allowed.
The preparation of the abstracts will be made exactly according to the model attached and following these parameters:
Language:Spanish, Portuguese or English
Page size: DIN A4
Top and Bottom Margin: 2.85 cm
Left and Right margin: 2.5 cm
Spacing: single
Between paragraphs leave a blank line.
Document
Title: Times New Roman 11, Capital letters, Bold, Justified.
Authors: Times New Roman 12, Justified. Family names followed by Initials (Example: Gogoi P, Sigüeiro R, Mouriño A). The first name is the presenting author.
Affiliation: Times New Roman 12, Italic, Justified. E-mail at the end.
Text: Times New Roman 12, Justified. References should be in superscript and between brackets.
Graphical material: Chemdraw, Centered on the page. Settings: fixed length (14.4 pt), bond spacing (2.54 pt), chain angle (120), line width (0.6 pt), bold width (2 pt), hash spacing (2.5 pt), atom labels (helvetica or arial 10), captions (Arial 10).
Acknowledgements: Times New Roman 11, Justified.
References: Times New Roman 11, Justified. Format: Reference number (in parenthesis, bold), authors (Surname following Name Initial in Capital letters), journal (abbreviated, Italic), year (bold), volume (italic), pages (first and last pages separated by a hyphen).
