The Grupo ANTE (GI-1871: Territorial Analysis Research Group) is a Competitive Reference Group of the Galician University System coordinated by Rubén Camilo Lois. The research group is based at the Institute for the Study and Development of Galicia (IDEGA), which is a research centre of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) that gives scientific and technical advice, as well as training.
The members of the group belong mainly to three USC departments: Department of Geography, of which most researchers belong to; the Department of Applied Economics; and the Department of the Galician Language and Literature, and Social Sciences.
ANTE is an interdisciplinary group of professors and researchers encompassing geographers, economists, archaeologists, and historians, which is recognized for its dynamism and collaboration with other institutions, such as universities, technology centres, and other non-academic institutions, such as local authorities, companies and associations. Their professors and researchers teach not only in the USC, but also in other Galician universities, and in other regions of the Spanish state.

This master's degree arises to respond to the needs of technical and professional updating and improvement to face the new challenges of spatial and urban planning. It was offered in previous years, the Latin American edition has a 100% online programme that allows for tailor-made training, combining work with texts, teaching materials and case studies with individualised tutorials.
