The Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation will finance a new research project of the group, to be developed in the next 3 years. It has by title:

"Amyloid-beta; oligomerization and interaction with plasma proteins under physiological relevant conditions. Interference in immunoassays".

This research continues the line started in the group a few years ago, which has obtained important advances in the knowledge of amyloid aggregates that act as toxic agents in Alzheimer's disease.

The Single Molecules and Photophysics units participate in this project, with Mercedes Novo and Wajih Al-Soufi as principal investigators.
