We are seeking for a highly motivated PhD candidate to join the group of Prof. Fernández-Megía and carry out a doctoral thesis focused on Synthetic cells interfacing living cells.
DESCRIPTION
Research topic: reparation and interfacial stabilization of dendritic coacervate microdroplets as a platform for synthetic-living cell consortia.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) of at least 300 ECTS credits European Credit Transfer System, or less than 300 ECTS with a university master's degree, in Chemistry.
Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements for enrollment in the University of Santiago de Compostela's Doctoral Programme in Chemical Science and Technology for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Previous experience in organic synthesis and NMR characterization.
