The CiQUS is a research center of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), founded in 2011, aimed at generating groundbreaking science at the frontier of knowledge in the fields of synthetic chemistry, chemical biology and functional materials. Currently, the CiQUS is composed of over 200 people, organized in 18 research groups. Along the years it has experienced a continued progress, and now stands excellent indicators in terms of scientific output (contributions in top-tier journals), international leadership (12 ERC grants), competitive funding capacity (8 M€/year) or tech transfer indicators (creation of 4 spin-offs). English is the common language for researchers at CiQUS.

DESCRIPTION
The CiQUS is seeking a human resources specialist to perform administrative HR functions and support the implementation of international HR management standards aligning with those of top-tier research centers.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
·University degree
·Experience in management or management support, with general understanding of HR processes and policies in an international context.
·Command in written and oral Spanish and English
Additional qualifications that can be considered for the evaluation:
·A university degree in labor relations, humanities, or social sciences is preferred but not required.
·Demostrable training in HR management, conflict mediation, equality policies or occupational risk prevention.
·Excel advanced user and used to work with HR metrics
·Experience in an international research institution
·Experience with the implementation of international best practices in human resources management (e.g. HRS4R)
·Command in Galician language
·Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proactivity, planning and organizational skills, teamwork.
RESPONSABILITIES
·Preparation and management of public calls for the recruitment of researchers and research support staff.
·Attending to requests for information from staff and candidates, collaborating in the preparation of the necessary procedures for the recruitment, especially for foreign staff.
·Updating and monitoring of the HR database, ensuring the integrity of HR data.
·Monitoring and tracking of deadlines for terminations, contract extensions, funding renewals.
·Support for the implementation of HR policies. Elaboration of protocols and guidelines related to HR management at CiQUS, giving information and advice to CiQUS members.
·Support for the management and execution of tasks related to labour relations, talent attraction, career development, transversal skills training, mobility and grants.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working day: Full 35 hours/week
Remuneration: according to USC Senior Management Technician (I.2)
