Again, two recent contributions by CIQUS´s research groups have been selected for the cover of two relevant scientific journals. Thus, the cover of the first issues of 2012 of the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry show the X-ray structure of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis type II dehydroquinase in complex with a potent inhibitor developed by the group of C. González Bello (J. Med. Chem. 2011, 54, 6063-6084). In the other hand, the inside cover of the first 2012 issue of Angewandte Chemie shows a novel family of nanographenes with a cloverlike threefold symmetry which have been coined as cloverphenes, developed by the group of E. Guitián, D. Pérez and D. Peña (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2012, 51, 173-177).
