The XXXV Biannual Congress of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (RSEQ) will take place in A Coruña, from 19th to 23rd July 2015, organized by the University of A Coruña. The congress will be configured around 16 different specialized simposia in the most diverse fields of Chemistry.

Organizers expect that this meeting will serve to promote a direct exchange of the most recently generated advances in Chemistry and Chemical Technology. CiQUS Professor José Luis Mascareñas is a member of the Scientific Commitee. In addition, CiQUS researchers Juan Granja and Manuel Bermejo will participate as invited speakers.

There are an exceptional group of plenary lecturers, including Richard R. Schrock, Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2005, and Avelino Corma Canós, Prince of Asturias Award 2014. Moreover, the Congress faces a very important internationalization challenge toward the RSEQ Biannual Meetings and, therefore, toward Spanish chemical science, with approximately 50% of invited speakers from foreign institutions.
