The group led by Ciqus PIs Beatriz Pelaz and Pablo del Pino has just published its work in the journal Nanoscale, within the collection "Emerging Investigators 2022".
The research group BioNanoTools of CiQUS of USC led by Beatriz Pelaz and Pablo del Pino, has just published a paper in the journal Nanoscale that advances in injectable drug delivery systems. The article by Pelaz and del Pino's group reports the effect of several synthetic parameters to produce UiO-66 with the aim of its application as a drug delivery system. This work is part of the HeatNMof project (H2020-MSCA-ITN, #860942) and one of its trainee researchers, Manuel Ceballos (INT Fellow) is the first author of the article.
The article is part of the collection "Nanoscale 2022 Emerging Investigators" which highlights emerging figures in nanoscience and nanotechnology research in 2022 and brings together the best work of researchers in the early stages of their independent careers. Accompanying the article, the journal has highlighted the figure of CiQUS principal investigator Beatriz Pelaz, recently awarded by the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry with the Young Researcher Award in the category of "Group Leader".
