This week the HeatNMof third annual meeting was held at CiQUS, the first face-to-face meeting after the COVID-19 pandemic. The results obtained in the project were presented by the ESRs and then discussed by the members of the consortium. The event included a visit to the CiQUS facilities.
HeatNMof is an MSCA training network aims to develop smart multifunctional drug nanocarriers based on versatile porous biocompatible nanometric Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs). Involving a highly interdisciplinary group of academic and industrial partners, this european project is training the next generation of material scientists with sound expertise in nanomedicine, highly needed to bring advanced materials as proposed from the bench to society.
CiQUS PIs Pablo del Pino and Beatriz Pelaz participates both as supervisors in HeatNMof and the ITN-MSCA Fellow Manuel Ceballos as a Early Stage Researcher working in nanoplasmonics.
