Grants

ECMI GRANTS
ECMI will allocate 10 grants which will cover the cost of registration to participants from third-world countries*. To apply for one of these grants, please send an email to ecmi2016@usc.es before 1st April with the subject “ECMI 2016 grant” including the following information:

  • Full name.
  • Institution full name.
  • Contact details (full address, telephone number, email).
  • Professional status (professor, PhD student, master student etc.).
  • If you will be presenting a paper/poster/minisymposium at ECMI2016.
  • A one-page letter of interest highlighting the impossibility of getting other sources of funding, why you would like to attend ECMI 2016 and which are your expectations.

*The Commission for Developing Countries of IMU defines “developing countries” as countries with a Gross National Income per Capita (GNI) less than 7500 USD. For a list, please go here.

THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE GRANTS
The Organizing Committee will allocate 10 grants which will cover the cost of registration to PhD and master students who are already presenting at ECMI2016. To apply for one of these grants, please send an email to ecmi2016@usc.es before 4th April with the subject “ECMI 2016 grant” including the following information:

  • Full name.
  • Institution full name.
  • Contact details (full address, telephone number, email).
  • A signed and stamped letter from your PhD advisor or a certificate from your Institution confirming your status.
  • A short CV (no longer than 4 pages).
  • A one-page letter of interest highlighting why you would like to attend ECMI 2016 and which are your expectations.
