The Proceedings of ECMI 2016 will be published by Springer both in printed and e-book versions as part of the ECMI book subseries of Mathematics in Industry. All the participants in ECMI 2016 will have free access to the Proceedings e-book.
To participate in this publication the authors who have presented a contribution during the conference are kindly invited to submit a short paper (5 to 7 pages) no later than 25th October 2016; please, see the instructions at the end of this e-mail. The submissions will undergo a reviewing process and the accepted papers will appear in the Proceedings volume.
The paper must be written in LaTeX by using the Springer macro package. In the folder containing the macros and templates the authors will also find the Copyright form that is mandatory to submit in order the paper can be published.
A selection of the best fifteen papers among all those submitted for the Proceedings will be carried out. The selected papers will be invited to present their extended version (about 20 pages) for publication in a special ECMI 2016 issue of the Springer Open Access Journal of Mathematics in Industry. Upon peer review, accepted papers will be published free of charge. Notice that the authors interested in participating in this selection must indicate it according to the instructions detailed below.
